My favourite part about Reel You is that it’s both my digital private diary and a place to selectively share moments with my family and close friends. 

What comes to mind when you think of social media?

I don’t trust social media with my personal information. I always feel like I’m bombarded with ads. I feel pressure to like people’s post even though I’m not part of their moment.

… and what comes to mind when you think of Reel You?

Reel You is a private environment where you only share if you want to. I only see moments that are important to me and I’m in control of adding other people’s moments to my own Reel. 

How do you use Reel You?

I capture moments that are important to me: a phone call with one of my daughters or my mother, my ballet class or a hike with my husband. Since I’ve had a Reel You account, I am more conscious of the important moments in my life. 

How do you describe Reel You to someone who has never heard of it?

It’s a private digital diary where you can share if you want, but don’t have to.
